Hey gang! Just want to let you know of a small change we are making as from today.

You will have seen how the coaching staff have had to write your names up on the board at the start of each session. The reason we do this is that we need to keep a record of who attended each session for insurance purposes as well as to monitor class sizes and membership utilisation. To date this has been a very manual task which has consumed a lot of time when transferring the information into our client management system.

So, we have now installed an iPad at the box to allow for digital sign in! The idea with the iPad is that we can now track attendance electronically and thereby remove the need to write names up and then transfer them into the client management system later. Clearly this is not ground breaking technology - most other gyms are already using this sort of setup - but this approach is different to what you are accustomed to at our facility. 

So, what does this mean for you?

Well, we need you to do 1 of 2 things for every class or Open Gym session you attend:

1) Book into the session prior to arrival using the MindBody App (iPhone: https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/mindbody-fitness-salon-spa/id689501356?mt=8 or Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mindbodyonline.connect&hl=en). This is a very simple process and can be done straight from your smart phone.

2) Sign-in to the relevant session using the iPad in the box upon your arrival to class.

The sign-in system itself is super easy to use. There is no password on the iPad so you just need to swipe to activate and locate the MindBody App if it isn't already open (the App icon is at the very bottom of the screen). Once in the app, you simply need to select the relevant class time and then click the button at the bottom to search for and add your name. Done!

If there are any problems with your account, a message will pop up when you sign in, so please get in touch with me should this happen.

This is not too big a change and we hope that you can assist us in making this transition a smooth one. The coaching staff will do their best to remind you at the start of each class to make sure you are all signed-in. If you do happen to forget and have already left the box, don't stress.....just send me a message and I can have you added later.
