Hi all,

Don't have long to write this post. Been an eventful day and I need to hit the sack. So just a quick word to remind you about the importance of lifting weight:

Weightlifting is about form, mobility, agility, flexibility speed, power and strength. When all these forces combine perfectly then we can reach our lifting potential. Unfortunately the forces don't always combine perfectly! haha. Learn to recognise where you are weak - then work on it. If you're inflexible then it might benefit you to work longer on your mobility than the time spent squatting. If you're flexible but weak - then spend less time on mobility and more time under the bar.

The longer I lift weight, the more I appreciate just how important it is for our overall health. I have said it before and I will say it again - it is essential a long term exercise program includes some heavy weightlifting. It strengthens muscles, bones, improves mobility and flexibility. Also helps us feel better about ourselves! So learn to love weightlifting!
