Firstly want to thank Simon for his big help setting for the Gentlemen's lunch, John for bring the table and closing up, Cachma for cleaning up,Craig for supplying the Table Tennis Table and everyone else for turning up and making it a great event!

The Box will probably smell like BBQ for a few months!





Monday Food Day - Restaurant Review - Waka, Manly 4.5/5

Do you have a go-to place to eat? That is, the place you go to when you have no idea what you feel like, but you know that when you go there - you are going to love it. Well this is our place at the moment. We were told about this place by Dan and Kaitlin.

The quality and value for money at the little Japanese place is sensational. The food is subtle, tasty but not overpowering. Nat absolutely loves the sushi and everything else on the menu.
I am not a sushi fan at all, so I choose:

- Beef Tataki
- Chicken wing dumplings
- Beef roll
- and a small bowl of rice.

If you haven't been there, you ought to give it a try. Weekends are always booked out, so best bet is to book ahead.

Being a small business owner - there are other small businesses I really admire and I want to follow - and this is one of them. They take pride in their food and their service is simply the best-value-for-money.

I give them a 4.5/5. It's not 5/5 only because it's so popular and it sucks having to book in advance!

By the way - the owners do know me and Nat; but we don't get any commission from this review.
