Egg shell

Hi all,

It's been a while since I have posted. Keith and I have been working hard behind the scenes. It's an exciting yet exhausting period for the both of us.  

I know we haven't promoted the CrossFit Open Games very much this year. It's not that we don't care for it. We do. We love it. We think it's one of the highlights of our CrossFit Calendar year. One of the reasons why I personally haven't actively pushed each of you into the corner to do the Games is because I want to respect you as someone who can act and choose for yourself. This is oppose to treating you like an "object" that can only be acted upon.

I must confess that I once measured our "success" by the number of people we had participating in the Open Games. I am ashamed that I thought that way. How much my mind has changed (matured) since last year.

Over this past year I have seen enough amazing changes in each of you that I feel so much joy and "success" in my heart already. Regardless of whether you choose to do the Open Games, my eyes are set firmly over the year ahead - to provide you with a enjoyable and effective training environment.

On that note - from 6pm onwards tonight you will have a chance to do the Open Games workout number 1. Don't worry if you miss out because the Open Games workout will be the WOD programmed for Monday.
